BILLINGS, Mont.  (UJ— Six different players scored Saturday for the University of Jamestown women’s soccer team in a 6-0 win over University of Providence (Mont.), the 100th win in the career of Jimmie head coach Nick Becker.

The Jimmies improve to 4-0-0 on the season and will play Rocky Mountain (Mont.) College on Sunday at 12 p.m.

Jamestown led 3-0 at the half after goals by Chloe Andrews (FR/Selah, Wash.) in the 3rd minute, Sophie McClean (FR/Jamestown, N.D.) in the 18th minute, and Peyton Rudnick (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) in the 33rd minute. Cassandra Diaz (JR/Montebello, Calif.) had the assist on the Andrews goal, which ended up as the game-winner.

UJ’s defense did not allow a shot and conceded just one corner kick in the first half. Providence (0-3-0) did not register their first shot until the 54th minute, when Taylor Ward’s attempt went high.

Alex Nowka (JR/Anchorage, Alaska) made her only save in the 67th minute, turning away a shot by Violet Johnson.

Diaz helped set up the opening goal of the second half, scored by Briana Perry (SR/Las Vegas, Nev.) in the 48th minute to make it 4-0 Jimmies. Kamryn Fiscus (JR/Yakima, Wash.) extended the lead to 5-0 with a goal in the 52nd minute, and Claire Struble (SR/Murrieta, Calif.) rounded out the scoring in the 65th minute.

Fourteen of Jamestown’s 15 shots were on target. Argo goalkeeper Justine Humphry ended with eight saves.
