Jamestown (CSi) At the Jamestown Public School Board meeting, Monday, school board unanimously approved the general fund budget for $34,567,686.72.
The general budget includes employee salaries along with benefits, and purchases services, professional and technical services, and supplies and materials.
The board approved increasing the budget to 102 mills.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Lech said this is a small increase from the previous three years, and does not include a assessment change on homes in the school district.
On the topic of COVID-19, Lech said there will be no vaccination mandates, while it does offer the Binax rapid testing for staff as-needed. He added that the staff exhibits one of the highest vaccination rates in North Dakota schools at 68-percent fully vaccinated.
