Jamestown, ND (KCSi – T.V. News Jul 30, 2013) — Official have annnounced the ground breaking for the GRE’s ethanol plant, at Dakota Spirit Energy’s Spiritwood Station, will be August 9, 2013.
Project Manager,Rich Garman, says, the general contractors are on board and everything is moving forward.
The ceremonial first shovels of dirt will take place across the road at the DSA location immediately after presentations.
Anticipated speakers include Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Sens. John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp, Rep. Kevin Cramer and local officials.
DSA Groundbreaking
Please join us for the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy groundbreaking celebration on Friday, August 9, 2013. The celebration will be hosted at the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy build site near Spiritwood and Jamestown, ND.
The 65 million-gallon-per-year Dakota Spirit AgEnergy biorefinery will be co-located next to the Spiritwood Station combined heat and power plant. The biorefinery will utilize steam from Spiritwood Station and corn to produce ethanol, distillers grains and fuel-grade corn oil.
Groundbreaking celebration schedule of events (hosted at the Spiritwood Station all-purpose building):
9:00 a.m. Open house featuring project partner exhibits and refreshments
10:00 a.m. Program followed by groundbreaking shovel celebration (at build site)
-Our federal delegation and North Dakota elected officials are confirmed to participate in this event.
11:00 a.m. Picnic lunch
Tours of Spiritwood Station
The groundbreaking event is a casual ag/energy day celebration in honor of this significant milestone for the project.
