All vehicles should be removed from the downtown streets, avenues and alleyways.
City crews began clearing snow in residential areas beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6.
City ordinance requires that a property owner keep the sidewalk adjoining the property clear of snow and ice. People should not deposit snow or ice on the city street after the city plow has cleared the street. These violations are Class B misdemeanors under the general penalty and will result in a fine.
Please be advised that snow-clearing is contingent upon changing weather conditions and snow accumulation totals.
