This individual was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Valley City for non–life– threatening injuries he sustained from the incident.
This male individual told Sheriff’s Deputies and responders on the scene he was sleep walking. A female friend, who lives with him told Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin he had left his residence about 6 A.M. that morning.
Sheriff McClaflin would like to remind everyone to please stay alert to ice conditions on local lakes and use caution when going onto it.
