(CSi)  The Jamestown City Council has approved, an agreement with Pictometry International Corporation, for content, services, and software related to orthomosaic and oblique imagery.

The council voted unanimously approved the project along with a first payment of $2,100 due at signing.

The total cost of the project would be $25,200 paid over three years with image capture scheduled for sometime in April.

The agreement generates a high-resolution imagery for city staff to use for multiple reasons.

Department’s  benefiting from the agrrement include Jamestown Police Department, Jamestown Fire Department, Jamestown Street Department, Sanitary, Engineering, Emergency Management, along with others.

City Assessor Jamison Veil pointed out that they would be able to integrate their information with the high-resolution imagery.

 The City Council also, approved bids for the 2022 seal coat, patching, construction, and reconstruction District #22-41.  The bid was slightly under the engineers estimates.
