Jamestown  (CSi) At 4:50am Thurs  morning the Jamestown Fire Department was called out to 901 4th Ave NE  for Smoke in a house.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the smoke was caused by an undetermined voltage surge, which damaged electrical items in the house.

The Jamestown Fire City Department was on scene for 30 minutes, with 20 firefighters, and four units on scene with one on stand by at the fire hall.
