(FPD) Red River Valley SWAT and Fargo Police conduct high-risk knock and announce search warrant at Countryside Trailer Park. Fargo Police Department requests the public to avoid the area.
On Tuesday, The Red River Valley SWAT Team is assisting the Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit with a high-risk, knock-and-announce search warrant at the Countryside Trailer Park. A perimeter has been set up around a house and a suspect is believed to be inside.
The SWAT Team utilized a Flash Sound Diversionary Device (FSDD) to create a loud bang and bright flash of light. The use of an FSDD is intended to create a distraction for the suspects to allow the officers to perform tasks that may put them in danger, unbeknownst to the suspects.
