Valley City (CSi)  Valley City and Barnes county voters will go to the polls on June 14, 2022, to cast ballots in City elections, along with School Board candidates, and the Primary Election for Barnes County Commission candidates.

Barnes County Auditor Beth Didier points out that the deadline for submitting petition forms for countywide offices was April 11.

The top two vote-getters in the June 14th primary will advance ti the November 8 general election ballot.

Didier said there will be measures on the 2022 ballot as well, with details to be released next week.

 

On the Valley City Election Ballot  in the upcoming June 14 city election:

Valley City Mayor, Dave Carlsrud is running unopposed, along with two city commissioners Jeffrey Erickson and Duane (Dewey) Magnuson.

Three running unopposed in the upcoming Valley City Park Board race: William (Buff) Murray, Dick Gulman and Susan Kringlie.

 

The Valley City Public school board election will be held June 14 in the Central Office Conference Room from 9am to 7pm.

Five individuals are running for two open positions in the upcoming Valley City Public School board election on June 14.

The two district-at-large positions are for three-year terms. The top two candidates who receive the most votes will be the winners in the June 14 election. T

The five who filed and will be placed on the ballot:   Darin Anderson, Phil Hatcher, Damian Johnston, James ‘Tony’ Puckett, and Katie Woehl.
