Valley City  (CSi)  The Valley City Fire Department was called out just after midnight Wednesday to 225 Second Avenue Southeast.

Firefighters responded to a house, garage fire in Valley City at that location.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson says there was minor fire damage to the structure and moderate smoke damage to the attached house.

No injuries were reported.  Firefighters were on the scene for for about  two hours checking for hot spots.
