Arts Park Up Grade

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE! The new sod is taking well and establishing quickly.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we finish the details on this project. Please stay off the grass in the Hansen Arts Park (both humans and pets) until the caution tape comes down. This will assure a strong well established lawn for everyone’s enjoyment this summer.

Our summer musical “Jack and the Giant” has three public performances this weekend: Dress rehearsal Friday at 1:00 pm.

Saturday at 3:00 & 6:00 pm for final Performances

The public is welcome to witness the hard work of these young thespians and be entertained by this age old tale.

This is a presentation by The Arts Center, in collaboration with Two Rivers Performing Arts School and directed by Mark Reeves.

This charming musical version will surely delight audiences. The giant is making life pretty miserable for Jack, his mother and the entire kingdom. Jack is even forced to sell his beloved dancing cow for magic beans. And where does Jack go? That’s right! Jack goes up the beanstalk and into the castle. By the end of this special tale, the cow is returned, the chicken learns how to lay golden eggs.
