Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. Sports Aug 12, 2013) — The Jamestown City Park Board has approved a $100,000 addition of fairway bunkers at Hillcrest Municipal Golf Course.
Bids will be advertised for the project to rebuild or replace about 20 bunkers.
Herfort Norby Golf Course Architects, of Chaska, Minn., has been hired by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide design and consulting services to create a master plan for improvements to the golf course.
Advertising for bids is starting this week, and the bid opening will be held September 24, 2013. The plan is to have the bunker project completed by October 1, 2013.
