Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Arts Center hosts the annual Manhattan Short Film Festival September 30 and October 1,with two showings open to the public at 6:30 PM

Admission is $10 and $5 for Arts Center members.

Film lovers around the world will unite to view and vote for the 10 finalists in the 25th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.

MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Final Ten screen simultaneously across the world during a ten-day period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue.

The Arts Center states, “Join when over 100,000 film lovers unite in over 400 cinemas across 6 continents to view and vote on the finalists films in the 25th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.”

The Final Ten MANHATTAN SHORT finalists hail from eight countries with films from Scotland, Chechia & Slovakia, Spain, Australia, Finland and Lebanon, alongside two films each from France and USA. These Final Ten Films represent the best short films from among 868 submissions from 70 countries received by MANHATTAN SHORT for 2022.
