Jamestown (CSi) – The driver of a vehicle fleeing from Jamestown Police Oct 7, Sloane Wolfe of Star Prairie, Wisconsin, was charged October 10 with 5 counts: Reckless endangerment, Fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, Criminal Mischief, Accidents involving death or personal injuries, and Refusing To Halt.
Friday afternoon, October at 4:54pm, a vehicle (V1) driven by Wolfe was fleeing from Jamestown Police. He was reported traveling at a high rate of speed (50 mph per witnesses) going south bound up Mill Hill. Once he reached the 17th St SW & 281 S intersection, Wolfe entered the left turn lane to get around vehicles stopped at the red light and collided with a vehicle (V2) making a left turn to westbound 17th St SW
Vehicle 2 was in the South bound left turn lane, had a green light (per witnesses) and was starting to turn west onto 17th Street SW when struck. Vehicle 2 was spun around.
Wolfe’s vehicle (V1) came to rest 100′ south of the intersection. Wolfe fled on foot behind Arby’s where Police apprehended him.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to JRMC with reported minor injuries.
