Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The community, veterans, and volunteers should great support for the All Vets Club fundraiser, Rummage Sale, held August 23-24, 2013, at the Bunker in Jamestown.
The Auxiliaries presented the proceeds to All Vets Club Board President, LeRoy Wegenast, and Club Manager Jon Beyer, Monday (Aug 26, 2013) at First Community Credit Union in Jamestown, in the amount of $3,560.
The auxiliary members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans thanks the community for its generous support of donated items and purchases at the rummage sale.
On Tuesday’s (Aug 27, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, an organizer and volunteer for the rummage sale, Nellie Degen said the Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department donated the use of The Bunker, Wal-Mart in Jamestown donated a $100 gift card to purchase supplies, and those participating in the farmers market donated food items for purchase at the event.
Ms. Degen pointed out that the All Vets Club is under the new management of Jon Beyer, with an excellent menu, new entertainment features, and offers a meeting space.
She adds, the All Vets Club is open to the public, adding that many told her that they will put the Club on their list of restaurants to patronize.
