FARGO, N.D. (AP Aug 27, 2013) – North Dakota State coach Craig Bohl says his team is not satisfied with back-to-back Football Championship Subdivision titles.
The Bison return 18 starters from a team that has won 28 of 30 games in the past two seasons and defeated two Bowl Subdivision teams.
Bohl says he not seen signs of complacency with his team, which he attributes to maturity and intense competition for starting spots.
The only team to win three straight FCS or Division I-AA titles is Appalachian State from 2005-07. The coach of that team, Jerry Moore, who is no longer guiding the program, came to Fargo earlier this year to tell Bison players to remain hungry.
NDSU opens Friday at Kansas State.
