Lisbon (KFGO) – The two people who died in a house fire in Lisbon have been identified by their family.

Jon and Courtney Person were the victims of the Friday, November 18th fire. The Lisbon Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire at 18 Oak Street in Lisbon just after 11 p.m. and encountered heavy smoke and fire at the residence.

A GoFundMe has been started by James Person, Jon’s brother, to benefit the couple’s daughter Brooklyn.

James Person says the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation is still looking into the cause of the fire.

Lisbon (Valley News Live) The Lisbon Fire Department released new information on a structure fire that left two people dead on Friday.

The department says in a social media post it happened at 18 Oak Street.

When firefighters got there, heavy smoke and fire were present and the two victims were found.

Officials say the names aren’t being released at this time, and the structure is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
