Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 4, 2013) — Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen says the new 750,000 gallon, $2-million water tower to serve Southwest Jamestown is moving ahead on schedule, and should be on line this fall. She points out that the tower will be painted with a design yet to be chosen next spring.
The new water tower is to serve areas near the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Louis L’Amour Elementary School, Buffalo Mall, Walmart and the North Dakota State Hospital.
An affiliated project brings the force main water lines south and west of the Wal-Mart and Buffalo Mall area.
The completion date on construction on the water lines is expected by October 15, 2013.
The water tower should be finished by November 30, 2013 with the tower painted by July 15, 2014.
The tower construction’s lead contractor is Chicago Bridge and Iron.
Naastad Brothers of Hatton, North Dakota is installing the water lines.
