Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News (Sept 4, 2013) — Still no new agreement between teachers and the Valley City Public School board.
The Valley City School Board negotiations Advisory Committee and the the Valley City Education Association met Wednesday.
Differences center around a base salary increase for new teachers, and a salary step increase for teaches who have an advance education degree.
A sick leave policy and a healthcare plan funding formula benefit are still officially on the table.
The two parties will meet with their members to adjust any agreement.
The Negotiations Advisory Committee now has 10 days from September 4th to submit their facts to the state.
If there is no agreement after a fact finding session, a impasse would be declared.
