Jamestown (CSi) The Stutsman County Commission January 4 unanimously approved an emergency declaration due to snowfall events.
Commissioner Chad Wolsky was not present.
County Road Superintendent Jim Wentland, asked for funding to rent equipment or hire people for snow removal that was not in the budget.
County Commissioner Jerry Bergquist said the Jamestown City Council already approved an emergency declaration for the city of Jamestown experiencing multiple heavy snowfall events that lasted several weeks while the recovery period is still ongoing.
