Jamestownn (CSi) Jamestown Regional Airport had 11,203 paid passenger boardings in 2022, an increase over 2021, with . 11,142 paid passenger boardings. The highest number was in 2017 with 12,865.
Jamestown Regional Airport offers direct flights to and from Denver on United Airlines, which is operated by SkyWest Airlines.
Numbers January to June of 2022 saw record or close to record boardings.
Passenger boardings decreased in the second half of 2022 because of the departure time from Jamestown being changed from the morning to early afternoon because the aircraft over-nighted in Denver instead of Jamestown, because of pilot or crew shortages. The second half of 2022 saw a decrease in boardings due to the schedule change creating difficulty in making connections in Denver.
SkyWest Airlines has filed a 90-day termination notice with the U.S. Department of Transportation in March to stop providing Essential Air Service to 29 airports, including Jamestown.
Through June 30, 2023, SkyWest, to provide service to Jamestown as part of the USDOT Essential Air Service Program. SkyWest has provided Essential Air Service to Jamestown Regional Airport since 2014.
The USDOT will request proposals from airline carriers on behalf of Jamestown Regional Airport. After the USDOT receives proposals, comments from the public can be made.
