Jamestown, ND – On January 13, 2023, the Jamestown Police Department received a report from a victim who had been sexually assaulted in December 2022. The assault occurred at 622 1 Ave S. in Jamestown. Investigators learned that the same offender had potentially committed criminal acts in other jurisdictions.

A coordinated investigation between the Jamestown Police Department, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Napoleon Police Department was initiated. Through the investigation into the Jamestown incident, it is alleged the offender was known to the adult victim and was acting as a therapist when the sexual contact occurred.

On February 1, 2023, 48-year-old Neil Joseph Pfeifer was arrested on suspicion of committing Sexual Exploitation by therapist in Stutsman County. He was arrested in Rugby, ND and was taken to the Pierce County, ND jail, to await formal charges.
