Valley City – Public Works began snow removal at 12am 4/5/23 with emergency routes and the downtown business district. Emergency routes will be continually evaluated around the clock until the wind subsides. Residential snow removal has begun in the NE section of town and will continue rotating clockwise throughout the sections of town. Emphasis will be placed on the streets, with alley cleanup to follow. Work downtown will continue through noon today and start again at 12am 4/6/23. Work will be continuous around the clock through the day Thursday. The Transfer station is closed today but crews are out picking up where they can.
