Colonel Brandon Solberg announces the promotion of Trooper Erin Quinn to Sergeant. Quinn graduated from the Highway Patrol Academy in May 2013 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from North Dakota State University.
Trooper Quinn was stationed as a traffic enforcement trooper in Elgin from May 2013 until May 2021. At that time, she became the Cultural Liaison Officer stationed at headquarters in Bismarck. Quinn has served as a Use of Force instructor since 2018; provided training in Cultural Awareness and LGBTQ Community Considerations for Law Enforcement for two years; and served as an instructor for the North Dakota Safety Council teaching safety courses since 2016. Sgt. Quinn will now serve as a training officer at the Law Enforcement Training Academy in Bismarck, effective May 1, 2023.
