Marion, Ind.-Jorden Morales of the University of Jamestown men’s track & field team took third place in the discus at the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.

Morales earned All-American honors and his best throw was 52.15m. Connor Tordsen of Dakota State (S.D.) was first at 54.14m and Garrett Kocab of Carroll (Mont.) was second at 53.42m.

Tyler Dean, competing in his first national meet in the discus, was 24th with a top mark of 45.02m.

Dawson Sedivec was 19th in the hammer throw at his first nationals with a top throw of 48.40m.

For the women, Anni Stier was 19th in the prelims of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:60.70.

Jordynn Toliver placed 15th in the javelin (39.91m) and was also 15th in the heptathlon (4280).
