Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Spet 13, 2013) — Jefferson Bus Lines says that intercity bus service is planned to return to Jamestown October 1, 2013.
Director of Marketing Kevin Pursey, says the non-staffed bus will be at the shelter near the railroad tracks in downtown Jamestown, on First Street West near Babb’s Coffeehouse, as approved by the Jamestown City Council.
No ticket agent will be available in Jamestown. The shelter is directly below the billboard sign in the west parking lot on the southside of the tracks. Pursey says signs will be put up at the stop, and a way to post schedules.
The tentative Jamestown schedule calls for a westbound bus that will stop at about 2 p.m. each day. The eastbound bus is scheduled to stop at 6:10 p.m. Riders need to purchase tickets in advance by going online to Jefferson Lines or by calling the ticket information line at 800-451-5333. Jeffeson Lines will not have a ticket agent in town.
