Deloris Mosher, 94, of Jamestown, ND, passed away with family present Tuesday morning, September 12, 2023 at her home.
Deloris was born November 3, 1928, in Jamestown, the daughter of Fred and Katie (Stroh) Sauter. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1946. Deloris was united in marriage to Lowell Mosher on July 15, 1947 in Jamestown. They spent a majority of their lives in Jamestown, with the exception of living in California and Mandan, North Dakota for short periods of time. Deloris worked at Moline’s Restaurant and Beck’s Tiny Town in Jamestown. She and Lowell owned and operated City Laundry, working together in the laundromat business for many years. Deloris could always be found cleaning, doing yardwork, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her t.v. shows, including Golden Girls and Wheel of Fortune.
She was a life-long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown – being baptized, confirmed, and married there.
Deloris is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Mosher) Kauphusman; son, Scott Mosher; daughter, Deb (Rick) Grabinger; 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell; brother, William “Bill” Sauter; and sister, Marilyn (Milt) Joslin.
Funeral Service – 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Pastor Stephanie Gossett officiating.
Visitation – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, at the funeral home.
Burial – Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
