Sioux City, Iowa– University of Jamestown defensive specialist Ellie Holen is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week.

Holen had another stellar week for the 16th-ranked Jimmies. She finished the week with 37 total digs and averaged 6.17 digs per set in a pair of straight-set sweeps for Jamestown. 

The Jimmies (11-5 overall, 4-0 GPAC) have won six straight matches and will be on the road at Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) and Mount Marty (S.D.) this Friday and Saturday.
