Jamestown – On October 5, the University of Jamestown hosted a groundbreaking event to celebrate the renovation of the Voorhees Chapel and to kick off construction for a new campus facility, which will house the Unruh School of Character in Leadership and the Reuben and Clarice Liechty Center for Faith and Life.

Special guests speak were, UJ President Dr. Polly Peterson, Jim & Candy Unruh, and former Jamestown Mayor Clarice Liechty. They spoke about the University’s new facilities and programming during a chapel service at 11 a.m. Immediately after the service, the representatives from the University, gather outside the chapel for a groundbreaking ceremony.
