Grand Forks N.D. – The North Dakota men’s basketball team will head back to the Golden State for the second time in as many weeks for two games. Friday night they will take on Call State Fullerton in the second game of a home-and-home. The Fighting Hawks won 73-57 in Grand Forks last year—the first game between the two schools. Sunday evening the Fighting Hawks take on UC Riverside for the first time.

Series History vs. the Titans
The two teams are meeting for the second time, after last year’s meeting in Grand Forks. The Fighting Hawks defended their home floor last November, winning 73-57.
Last Season
North Dakota finished the 2022-23 campaign with a 13-20 record, a seven win improvement over 2021-22. The Fighting Hawks won their first Summit League Tournament game in three years with an 83-68 win over Denver in the first game of the tournament. The team won six of their last nine games, regular and postseason, last year.
Six in a row, Looking for Seven
The Fighting Hawks are looking for their first win streak of seven or more in the Division I era. In 2007 the team won ten straight games, the last time that the team won seven or more in a row.
