Jamestown, ND – On February 6, 2024, at approximately 0845 hrs., the Jamestown Police School Resource Officer was called to a classroom at the Jamestown High School to address an unruly student in a classroom. The student was asked to leave the classroom by the school staff but refused. The SRO and school staff attempted to escort the student from the classroom and that student physically resisted.

A teacher observing the incident called 911 to get assistance from other officers while the SRO and staff struggled with the student. The student was restrained and escorted out of the building by other responding officers. All police units were cleared from the scene by 0905. No one claimed injury as a result of the incident.
