Jamestown – After 40 years of service to the Stutsman County Commission, Mark Klose will not be running again.

Klose says “it time”. He has enjoyed being apart of the Stutsman County Commission. Klose made the announcement at the February 6th meeting.

This will leave three positions up for election in the coming years.  Klose, Joan Morris, in 2024 and Taylor in 2026. Klose and Morris have 4 years terms. Taylor taking over due to Steven Chicos passing away, will be up for election in 2026.

People interested in running for the open position must have completed petitions in by 4pm April 8.
