ST. PAUL, Minn. – With matchups set, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced the start times for each Frozen Faceoff semifinal at Xcel Energy Center on Friday, March 22.

No. 1 seed North Dakota will battle fifth-seeded Omaha in the first semifinal at 4:07 p.m. while No. 2 seed Denver and No. 3 seed St. Cloud State will close the night with the second semifinal at 7:37 p.m.

This will be the fifth meeting this season between North Dakota and Omaha, with the Mavericks claiming the season series for the first time in program history with three wins in the first four contests.

While Friday will be the first matchup at the NCHC Frozen Faceoff between the programs, UND has met the Mavericks five previous times in postseason play. The Fighting Hawks swept the NCHC Quarterfinals in 2017-18 before claiming a three-game series win at Baxter Arena last season.

The winners of each semifinal will advance to the championship game on Saturday, March 23 at 7:38 p.m.

All Frozen Faceoff games will air exclusively on CBS Sports Network and the Home of Economy Radio Network.
