Jamestown KFGO – A legal secretary in the Stutsman County State’s Attorneys office who is accused of providing confidential information to a child sexual misconduct suspect has been put on administrative leave.

State’s Attorney Fritz Fremgren says he placed Jessica Dishong, 32, on leave last Friday (March 15). She was hired in Aug. 2022.

Dishong is charged with accessing and providing sealed documents to 28-year-old MaGregr Obregon of Cooperstown before law enforcement was able to serve a search warrant to gather evidence against him. Dishong is charged with disclosing confidential information and hindering law enforcement.

Obregon is charged with repeatedly sexually abusing and threatening a teenage girl, and with sexually assaulting another girl at work. He faces charges of sexual assault, luring using a computer, corruption of a minor and terrorizing.

A North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation agent says Dishong admitted to sharing the information with the Obregon.
