The Music in the Park series continues 7:15pm Weds June 12, at the City Park Bandshell, 420 4th St. SW, Valley City. Gina Powers, singer-songwriter from the Fargo-Moorhead area will be on stage.

Gina Powers is a versatile and captivating singer-songwriter and recording artist with a unique blend of country, rock, and soul. Her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence have captivated audiences of all ages and musical tastes.

Gina has been singing and playing guitar since she was a child, and her music influences range from Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton to Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Nicks. She is currently an exclusive recording artist on the Hughmont International record label in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 2022, Gina released two singles, “Till I Get Through the Night” and “Mississippi’s Burning,” both written by award- winning songwriter Jerry Foster. “Not Anymore” was released in early 2023 followed by two original songs: “All I Ever Wanted” and “Extra Ordinary Life” with more new music on the way.

In addition to her solo career, Gina is also the lead singer of The Gina Powers Band, a powerhouse country-rock band that has been playing together since 2015. The band has been featured in several publications and the Prairie Musicians television series. Whether she’s performing solo or with her band, Gina Powers is a force to be reckoned with. Her passion for music and her ability to connect with audiences make her one of the most exciting new artists on the scene.
