Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 27, 2013) — Jamestown is hosting a Search and Rescue Conference, today.

The purpose is to familiarize North Dakota SAR practitioners with what skills and assets we have available in North Dakota

Stutsman County Emergency Manager, Jerry Bergquist will attend. He says many of the scheduled events will be held at various locations throughout the community.

About 110 people are registered..

The entire group will be located at the Farmers Union Conference Center this morning until about 10:00 a.m. when the group will split up to go to various locations.

Other local individuals attending include Stutsman County Sheriff, Chad Kaiser, Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger, and Jamestown City Fire Chief, Jim Reuther.
