FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A former TV anchorwoman who resigned and claimed gender and age discrimination last year is returning to the air on a different Fargo station.
50-year-old Robin Huebner will be WDAY’s new 5 p.m. co-anchor and write for The Forum. Forum Publisher Bill Marcil Jr. says Huebner the Forum and WDAY have worked together over the years, but Huebner is one of the first people to truly split her time between the two newsrooms.
Huebner in December filed a federal lawsuit against Hoak Media, the parent company of Fargo stations KXJB and KVLY.
She resigned in October after more than 20 years following a decision to replace her on the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts with a younger co-anchor. Hoak Media disputes her claims
