West Fargo, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 30, 2013) — A Valley City man was arrested and charged with felony DUI under the state’s new DUI law after he alluded police in West Fargo early Monday about 1-a.m.

27 year old Anthony Scot Smith was arrested after a minor traffic accident following the chase in West Fargo.

Police say he tried to out-run them during a traffic stop for erratic driving along Main Avenue.

Smith’s DUI was a felony under North Dakota law, as it was his fourth DUI.

Smith was also charged with driving under suspension and fleeing from police.

Smith was taken to the Cass County Jail.
