BISMARCK, N.D. (AP Sept 30, 2013) – North Dakota’s two-day youth pheasant hunting season is this weekend.
The state Game and Fish Department says licensed resident and out-of-state hunters age 15 and younger can hunt roosters statewide on Saturday and Sunday. The daily bag limit and all other regulations for the regular pheasant season apply, and an unarmed adult must accompany youth hunters in the field.
North Dakota’s regular pheasant season opens Oct. 12 and continues through Jan. 5.
