Jamestown, ND (CSi) – Newly elected Bob Toso has resigned from the Jamestown City Council, as of August 16, 2024. Mr. Toso was elected to fill the vacated seat of Dan Buchanan.
In his letter of resignation, he stated “it was not working for him” and Toso believes that a better person can serve to take this seat.
This leaves the City Council with two options: 1. To hold a special election for his spot on the council or; 2. For the city to appoint a person to fill the position for a two year term until the next election.
