Valley City, ND  (KCSi-T.V. News Oct 2, 2013)  —   Authorities say a  fire destroyed a metal structure northeast of Valley City on a farmstead Tuesday afternoon around 3:20.

Lance Peterson was storing some equipment inside the building. A camper, motorcycle, snowmobile and some bee keeping equipment and honey barrels were destroyed in the fire.   No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, however, Valley City Fire Chief Gary Retterath says a strong wind may have ignited an old garbage fire outside,  near the structure.
