Women’s golf wraps up fall season with 3rd Place Finish

Jamestown – The University of Jamestown women’s golf team competed in their last meet of the fall season on Monday, October 7, and Wednesday, October 8, at The Mustang Derby in Sioux City, Iowa, on the Whispering Creek Golf Course. The women placed third of eight as a team with 70-over 646 (326-320). 

FOR THE JIMMIES

• Kyra Hager placed seventh with 12-over 156 (79-77).
• Isabella Crafford placed eighth with 13-over 157 (79-78). 
• Celi Nelson tied for 18^th with 21-over 165 (81-84). 
• Tori Worner tied for 27^th with 26-over 170 (89-81). 
• Ellie Garavaglia tied for 30^th with 27-over 171 (87-84). 

OPPONENTS

• Morningside took first place with 46-over 622 (309-313). 
• Allison Meyerink of Morningside placed first with 3-over 147 (74-73). 

UP NEXT

• With their fall season completed, the University of Jamestown women’s golf team will return in the spring.
