JPD – The Jamestown Police Department wants to notify Jamestown residents regarding a new high risk sex offender who is residing within the city of Jamestown.

31 years of age, Sawyer John Suko, he is homeless

Suko has a 1996 black Ford Explorer.

Suko is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, and has Hazel eyes and Brown hair.

Mr. Suko has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – when Suko was age 18, he took some apple pucker to a neighboring campsite and gave some to a 13-year-old girl. When the girl was intoxicated, Suko had sex with her.

Conviction Date: 01/06/2012 in Stutsman County District Court

Disposition: 1 year, 1 day; all but 81 days suspended; 81 days credit; 5 years supervised probation

Suko is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this
information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or
threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
