NDHP – On November 14th, 2024, at 3:15PM a NDHP trooper attempted to stop a
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 for no seat belt. The driver of the vehicle fled from the trooper.
While fleeing, the driver crashed into a tree at 16th St SW & 54th Ave SW, in Minot.

The driver then fled on foot and has not been located. A search is currently underway
and there is no threat to the public. There was a female passenger in the fleeing vehicle
identified as Marisa Ruby of Minot. Ruby as uninjured in the crash and remained on scene. The
NDHP asks the public to stay away from the immediate area of the crash and search.
