CSiNewsNOW.com – High winds Friday afternoon peeled the steel siding off the west end of the Dallmann Services building in NW Jamestown. At 5:45pm motorists reported “pieces of building” laying on 2nd Av NW near 4th Street.
The steel siding covering the brick building had started to peel from the north due to the strong wind, hanging on to the south corner by a thread. By a little after 6pm, the siding was off the building as workers were using a fork-lift to move the siding out of the traffic lane.
Orange traffic cones were out so motorist could avoid the mess.
High winds are expected into Saturday.
