The Runnings story began in 1947 when Norman “Red” Running opened the first store in Marshall, Minnesota. What started as an automotive supply shop has grown into a trusted source for farm and fleet needs across the country. Under the leadership of Dennis and Adele Reed since 1988, Runnings has expanded to 82 stores in 12 states, offering a wide range of dependable products and hometown customer service.

Jamestown’s Runnings location carries a full lineup including clothing, footwear, tools, sporting goods, farm and pet supplies, lawn and garden gear, housewares, and more—many of the same great items longtime Home of Economy shoppers relied on, with the added selection and service of the Runnings brand.
