Man Identified,Died In Crash North Of Litchville

Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Oct 8, 2013)  —  The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a 71 year old Litchville  man who died about 3:30-p.m., Tuesday on Barnes County Road 38, five miles north of Litchville. 

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, Rodney Vaders’  1988 Corvette convertible  was westbound on a straight level portion of the paved county road. The vehicle gradually drifted into the north ditch. The vehicle rotated clockwise and rolled. Vaders  was ejected. The vehicle and driver came to rest in a soybean field.

The report says Vaders was not wearing a seatbelt.

Damage to the car was estimated at $12,000.

The Barnes County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
