Jamestown – Phase 2 of Construction on US 52/US 281 from 37th St SE to 17th St SW Begins July 14
Jamestown, ND – The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT), in cooperation with TI-Zack Concrete Inc., will begin Phase 2 of the highway improvement project on US 52/US 281 from 37th Street SE to 17th Street SW in Jamestown on Monday, July 14th, with expected completion by Friday, August 15th, weather permitting.
Phase 2 Overview
During this phase, construction will take place in the outside lanes and right-turn lanes of US 52/US 281. The work includes:

Concrete Pavement Repair (CPR)
•
ADA-compliant pedestrian ramp upgrades
These outside and right-turn lanes will be closed during construction.
Additionally, there will be a 7-day closure starting on Tuesday, July 15th, for CPR work on the I-94 westbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp at Exit 258.
Traffic Impacts and Detours

I-94 eastbound motorists should use Exit 260 to turn around and access US 52/US 281 via Exit 258 during the ramp closure.
•
US 52/US 281 northbound and southbound traffic wanting to travel westbound on I-94 will need to use eastbound I-94 to Exit 260, turn around, and head west.
Traffic control devices, signs, and flaggers will be used to guide motorists safely through the work zones. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution, and follow detour signage.
