NDHP – On August 5, 2025, a 2021 Harley-Davidson driven by a 48-year-old male of Devils Lake, ND motorcycle was traveling southbound on Elks Drive, approximately ΒΌ mile from the junction with US Highway 2 near Devils Lake. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. The driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported by Lake Region Ambulance to CHI St. Alexius in Devils Lake and later transferred to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
