NDHP – On August 9, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m., a Toyota Corolla driven by a 59-year-old female of Fargo, ND was stopped at a red light westbound on 29th Avenue North at Broadway in Fargo. When the light turned green, the Toyota entered the intersection. A 2022 Yamaha Sport motorcycle driven by a 31-year-old male of Fargo, ND was traveling southbound on Broadway at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for the red light. The motorcycle collided with the front passenger side of the Toyota in a T-bone style crash. The motorcycle driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, where he later died from his injuries. The Toyota driver was wearing a seat belt and not injured in the crash. This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
